The open class is the first session of Managing Resilient and Sustainable Supply, an elective for the Master in International Business, Master in Business Analytics, and Master in Management Programs.
About the Class:
In recent years, the role of supply management has evolved dramatically. Global disruptions, competitive pressures, and demands from regulators and other stakeholders have made the effective management of risks and sustainability standards in the supply chain a business imperative. This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to navigate these complex challenges.
In the course, we will explore advanced strategies that encompass effective risk identification and mitigation, the role of insourcing and outsourcing as approaches to manage resilience and competitiveness of the firm, strategies for measuring and managing scope 3 emission footprints, and dealing with corporate social responsibility in the deeper supply chain. The curriculum is structured to provide a robust understanding of these strategies from both theoretical and managerial perspectives, with real-life applicability being a focal point.
