Effective healthcare institutions need effective leaders

Young Physician Leaders is designed to develop the leadership talent of an international group of young, promising healthcare and public health professionals. Launched in 2011 by the InterAcademy Partnership for Health (IAP, formerly the InterAcademy Medical Panel), it now brings together a network of more than 130 alumni.

  • Explore themes concerning the sources of leadership and the different styles a leader needs.
  • Identify the complex processes of decision making and organizational change.
  • Present a session on the concerns of young physicians at the World Health Summit.
  • Join the worldwide network of Young Physician Leaders alumni and learn from your peers.
The program is run as a collaboration between IAP for Health, ESMT Berlin and the World Health Summit.

Participants

You are a physician under the age of 40 from the global health sector, such as a clinician, educator, policy advocate, or a leader from the non-profit or private sector.
